Aera V2 was the previous generation of the Aera vault protocol. It provided a simpler vault model with guardian-managed strategy execution, but lacked the modularity, hook system, and cross-chain capabilities introduced in V3. Aera V2 vaults are no longer being deployed, and the protocol is deprecated in favor of Aera V3.
